I have been looking for a new position where I can really make a difference. Especially in the JavaScript environment, the exact tech stack is crucial. Therefore, it was remarkable for me that IAM Global was able to match me very precisely to mandates that exactly match my expertise. The various match reports gave me a good overview of which job has what advantages for me. Since the interviews all took place via video call, I was able to judge well from a distance what kind of personality the company were looking for. In the end, I actually had a free choice between three interesting challenges. Finally, I chose the position with the highest fit to the corporate culture and the best chances for advancement, and I’m excited to see what this step has in store for me.

I became aware of an interesting vacancy via LinkedIn and contacted the team of Nicolas Nagel. The professional manner as well as the excellent information regarding the corresponding mandate were vital for me during the first contact. With a review like this, it is probably worth mentioning that I also looked at two other mandates on recommendation, which were an even better fit for me based on my psychometric profile – and with one of them, it actually “clicked” right away in the first meeting. In the end, I ended up at a different company than I had originally planned, and I’m very happy with that.

When looking for a job through a competent partner, they must add real value to me. With IAM Global, I found a job that really fits my natural strengths perfectly and gives me a lot of pleasure even after half a year (February 2021, note IAM Global GmbH). I have quite a penchant for complex backend development, Kafka and event streaming architectures are my thing. Accordingly, it was important to me that a new challenge not only says “backend” on it, but also has “backend” in it. I felt very well taken care of at IAM Global, and I personally benefited enormously from the scientific way of working with exciting insights into my thought patterns and motivational factors.

After inadequate cooperation with two classic personnel service providers – we began to take a new path with IAM Global. It is important for us to develop a continuous understanding of what distinguishes us as a company and where our very individual strengths lie. Our team is characterized by an enormous homogeneity and an outstanding team spirit. In search of reinforcement for this team, we were looking for a partner who understands our unique fingerprint and can provide us with customized profiles based on it. Since we have fully digitized our recruitment processes as part of the Corona pandemic, it is a tremendous added value to get a good, rational impression of a candidate’s personality from the outset. The team analysis helped us to express this fingerprint in concrete numbers, data and facts. Ultimately, this also build the foundation for our final personnel decision, which to this day (April 2021, note IAM Global GmbH) we can describe as a bull’s eye.
