2016 – 2019: Volkswagen Group China (Beijing).
Led major existing business units and developed and implemented new business units from scratch. Shaped and transformed €100b company as Director of Corporate Strategy in challenging times regarding technological, political and economic situation.
2013 – 2016: Volkswagen AG (Wolfsburg).
Management of several international markets, led as General Manager Sales China / ASEAN the volume planning department as well as an entire sales region for the Volkswagen brand.
2009 – 2013: Volkswagen Group China (Beijing).

Founded his first company while still in school, using his self-taught programming skills. Financed his studies for 5 years by running it and developing websites and database application programs.
Served initially as an intrapreneur within large companies, representing customers and (future) market needs, fighting for electric mobility for years before it became popular and mainstream.
Championed cultural change initiatives and gained board and employee level support and participation to fight for a better future beyond the status quo.
Drive and passion
Strong drive to innovate and the power to overcome hurdles as well as continuously strive for a better tomorrow is exactly what he loves and has successfully lived for many years.
Social commitment
Founded a support initiative for disadvantaged Tamil youth on tea plantations in Sri Lanka. Volunteer in the German “Tafel” system.
Class president, later president of the alumni organization and mentor for younger students of the international MIEX master program.
